Uniting Sex & Spirit in a Holy Season
Men In Touch invites a renowned facilitator, Steve Schwartzberg, to guide a weekend of erotic exploration!
In Judeo-Christian traditions, early spring is a holy season. The heart of Easter is resurrection. Passover is the Jewish celebration of freedom. Central to both holidays is the idea of renewal and rebirth, or embracing the mysteries of moving through, and transcending, that which enslaves us.
Passion/Play is a new hands-on, full-bodied, two-day workshop that explores these central sacred themes in our own bodies. In the context of an intimate brotherhood, we will engage in a variety of rituals including dialogue, ecstatic breathwork, erotic touch, movement, and meditation.
The workshop is designed for men open to Eros as a pathway to greater emotional well-being and a deeper connection with the sacred. All exercises will be facilitated, honoring each participant's individual journey amid a shared sense of mutual safety and respect.
Some prior experience with erotic group-work, in a clothing-free environment, is recommended.
The facilitator, Steve Schwartzberg, Ph.D., has been on the core faculty of the Body Electric School for 10 years, where he facilitates Celebrating the Body Erotic and several of the intensive trainings. Steve is a licensed clinical psychologist, trained Sacred Intimate, and writes a column for the Huffington Post on Buddhist meditation.
